The Walleye and Perch bite on Leech Lake has been consistent considering the inconsistent weather we have been having this winter. Dusty Minke has been targeting walleyes during the low light periods on steep breaks and mid-lake structure using Northland Tackles' Buckshot spoon tipped with minnow-heads. He also adds, " Perch are getting more active on main lake breaklines, and flats in 12-30 feet of water. The Perch sizes have been very nice as well." Also, he added that the ice thicknesses vary so check the ice as you go!
