The walleye bite has been decent lately. Most action coming near structure or shoreline breaks in 22-28 feet of water, during the "prime time" hours (early morning and late evening". Something to increase your chances of having a more successful trip is trying to avoid the crowds of people/houses and getting away from the commotion. Red and Gold jigging spoons tipped with a minnow head have been the best jigging baits, while a lot of anglers are having success using a more subtle approach, like a plain red hook with a live shiner.
